Dear Community Councillors

You are invited to a workshop on digital engagement for Community Councils and Registered Tenant Organisations. The aims of these workshops are to:

  • Hear directly from you about any problems you have with engaging with members of the local community via the internet.
  • Share experiences and solutions to such problems
  • Build relationships between members, to create a pool of digital engagement expertise and resources for CCs and RTOs across Scotland.

Please bring your ideas and experiences to make these events a success! Please note they will not be training sessions.

Bruce Ryan is a Senior Research Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University. His research interests include information literacy and the role of public libraries in supporting hyperlocal democracy. Bruce spent 15 years working in educational publishing prior to joining Edinburgh Napier University.
